Shri Chunnilalji Bhaktawarmal Mehta dedicated his life serving the needy. He was born in lap of luxury in the year 1909 at Khimel, Dist. Pali, Rajasthan. He received good education and soon joined his family business at Rani. He was a man with clear foresight . His door always remained open to anyone who needed any kind of help from him, he welcomed guests at his home affectionately. His elegant personality attracted one and all. He was kind hearted and always carried a smile, moreover his temperament was the great asset of his persona. He was a true social worker and a disciplined person, who dedicated his whole life for the betterment of underprivileged people. He worked in various social activities with honestly and dedication. He was honourable secretary of "Godwad Maha Sabha" whose capital was Tirth Raj Varkana since 1964-1969. He successfully solved all the issues raised in the Sabha with complete justice and thus established a prestigious identity in the society.

He was fine author and soon got noticed for his work. He was honourably called "Vakil Sahab". Because of his outstanding capabilities, he was elected as a "Sarpanch" of village khimel, where he played an important role in the development of the village. He was an active member of "Rani Merchant's Association" and was re-elected as Secretary for a record fifteen consecutive years. He was also elected as Managing Trustee of "Shree Shanti Jain Devesthan Trust", Rani. He started education opportunities and hence he was appointed with the various designations at "Falna Umed Sikshan Sansthan" & "Shri Parshwanath Jain Vidhyalaya", Varkana. In 1999, while returning from Jodhpur and he passed away. In loving memory of "Basa", a trust “Shri Chunnilal Bhaktawarmal mehta Charitable Trust" was formed in the year 1995 by his grandson Mr. Kiran Mehta & the entire Mehta Family is strong follower of his principles and ethics and devotee for Shri Sai Baba. The trust was formed with a vision to nurture the future of underprivileged people and provide them wholesome food, good education and proper medical care. Since last fifteen years, the trust and the Mehta family are continuously serving the society at large. As part of the Mehta family's tribute to BASA and Shri Sai Baba,a beautiful temple "Sai Dham" has been built at the auspicious place of Rani Rajasthan. Shri Chunnilal ji Bhaktawarmal ji's life and his work will always remain an inspiration and will keep motivating us.
